New Course: Microsoft Windows 10 70-697

CBT Nuggets trainer Anthony Sequeira released his new Microsoft Windows 10 70-697: Configuring Windows Devices course, which completes the training needed to earn the MCSA Windows 10 certification. Anthony’s new course equips learners with the skills and knowledge needed to master Windows 10 administration. While the Windows 10 user interface is a dramatic improvement compared to Windows 8 and 8.1, the underlying technologies and cloud integration make this operating system one that’s worth learning well. Anthony’s newest course addresses topics including how to support Windows Store and cloud apps, configure Hyper-V, configure networking, manage apps, and more.

We asked Anthony about his new course and how learners can get more out of the CBT Nuggets Learning Experience.

Q: Why should companies train their IT professionals in Windows 10? What value does learning Windows 10 bring to an organization and the IT pro?

Windows 7 (amazingly) is still the number one Windows desktop in use. But now that Microsoft has stopped supporting that operating system, more and more organizations are making the switch to Windows 10. Learning this new desktop operating system and its many new features is now more important than ever.

Q: From a learner perspective, what did you keep in mind when creating this course?

I made sure the certification exams would be easily tackled, while at the same time ensuring that I concentrated on the tips and tricks for production environments that our learners would love.

Q: Any out-of-the-box tips for learners to get the most out of your course?

Just show up with a passion to learn! Thanks to our new remarkable Hands-on Lab experience, learners don’t even need their own lab equipment!

Q: What’s one real-world application someone can expect to use, thanks to this course?

This course ensures that learners understand the possibilities with cloud services integrated into the Windows 10 desktop experience.

Q: What was your favorite Nugget to create in this course?

My favorite Nuggets to create were the Intune Nuggets (Getting Started with Microsoft Intune, Support Mobile Devices with Intune, Manage Computers with Microsoft Intune, and More Management Using Intune) since there were many interesting challenges I could educate learners about, including the fact that Intune is undergoing major changes.

Q: What’s the one thing you hope learners take away from this training?

I want learners to understand just how many flexible options exist for Windows 10 desktops today!

Q: What course(s) or certification(s) should learners complete before diving into Windows 10 70-697?

Learners should go through our two courses for the CompTIA A+ certification. CompTIA Network+ is also strongly recommended.

Q: What course(s) or certification(s) should learners look to jump into after they complete Windows 10 70-697?

After completing the two Windows 10 courses (70-697 and 70-698) here for MCSA certification, Learners should consider moving on to Keith Barker‘s Microsoft Windows Server 2016 training courses!

Q: As a martial arts practitioner, is there a specific move or martial arts form that you think Windows 10 embodies?

I LOVE THIS QUESTION! 🙂
Windows 10 is like a roundhouse kick! It can be delivered with great power and force (Windows 10 Enterprise), or it can be more quickly delivered with precision (Windows 10 phone).

Take on your training with a roundhouse kick of your own! Start training today with Microsoft Windows 10 70-697.
