With a mission to foster the sense of inclusivity within the academic community by supporting our differently-abled users with accessible environment, we have developed a dedicated Screen Reader facility in the Digital Library section. It will be helpful in promoting equal access to information for individuals with visual impairments. This technology enables text-to-screen conversion of the content into speech or Braille, providing them with greater independence in navigating and utilising the library's resources, thus providing valuable support to visually impaired users in their academic endeavours. This initiative is in line with the current movement to integrate assistive technologies into libraries, aiming to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
